Pontiac RV came highly recommended by an acquaintance. I am so happy my husband Michael and I went there to purchase our Grand Design Toy Hauler. Our salesperson, Steve Martin walked us through all of our questions with ease. He made sure we understood everything and became more than a salesperson but a friend. Coming back to pick it up, we spend a good couple of hours learning all about our new RV from inside to outside. Again, making sure we were completely satisfied and all our needs and questions were met. Stepping into the financing office was met with ease. In and out in less than 20. I traded in a pickup slide in camper for a used 21 foot travel trailer, and my experience began with the salesman, Phil. The day I arrived was the day before an out of town RV show and I'm sure Phil was busy with the event logistics, however, he took his time showing me different campers and demonstrating their capabilities. I selected my camper and a time when I could pick it up, but requested to change my pick up date once and the time twice - no problem for Phil or his fellow salesman, Carson. I was much obliged and excited.
When my wife and I arrived the day of the sale, Mike gave us a walk around demonstation of our camper. From the second we met him, he made us feel like VIP's, giving us a thorough overview of all the featurs and capabilities without rushing, and gave us peace of mind by informing us that the service department was just a phone call away. He also told us of the RV service video's online that we could view as an additional educational aid (I've just watched them all, Mike. Well done!)
While Mike was doing the walk around on the inside of the camper, his team was busy removing my slide in camper from my truck and hooking up my travel trailer. They were so good that I was surprised to exit my new trailer and find it already attached to my truck! Great job!
Finally, we met with the business office to arrange payment where we were treated with professionalism and proficiency, then off to the RV store where we purchased a new drain hose. We received 10% off the purchase and were told we would receive 10% off for the next year. To round off our experience, we received a gift bag and catalog, then headed home.
I would also like to point out that the temperature outside that day was 95 degrees. Our new camper was parked inside with the air conditioner and the refrigerator running in order to demonstrate their working condition and to keep us comfortable during the walk around. Dana and I had been looking for a specific Tiffin RV and found some on the internet at Pontiac RV. The phone call was quick and pleasant, our Salesman Brad was very competent and focused on our needs and concerns. Brad recommended an 'end of year' unit that was perfect. Then just 2 short phone calls and one day later we were driving the 12 hours to purchase it. Brad saved us money, time, and hassle. The purchase went smoothly and hassle free at the dealership. After a thorough walk-thru and orientation, we were ready to leave in our new motorhome when Mike, our walk-thru tech, noticed a glitch in the leveling jack controls. Immediately Mile and Andrew, service mechanics, were on it and quickly with Lippert;s help, diagnosed it as a pump valve. We had to leave that day, running a little tight because I had hip surgery in 2 days. Well after leaving Pontiac RV for home, the part was overnighted, installed, the entire coach was reinspected, and they insisted they would deliver it to my home in North Carolina! Pontiac RV kept me informed every step of the way. It was so worth it to drive to Pontiac RV, a family owned business that under-promised and over-delivered. Brad, the 2 Mikes, Andrew, and everyone else on that team was laser focused on making us happy owners. The next one we buy will also be a Pontiac RV! My husband and I picked up our Brinkley G 3500 yesterday. After shopping around for our new Brinkley, Pontiac Rv won our vote. Will never go anywhere else. Jeff Moline was our salesman. Can not sing his praises enough, he went out off his way for us. We are going to miss our conversations with him. The ladies at the closing were wonderful as well. Shout out to Jill. This is our 3rd RV, but our first purchase from Pontiac RV. We were nervous about purchasing an RV 3.5 hours away from our home, but Pontiac had a great deal on the model we were looking for, and most recently, we had to drive our RV back to Pontiac to fix a broken slide. We had heard stories on social media forums of others with slide issues that were having to miss months of camping because the service departments of other dealerships were backed up.
Pontiac RVs service department was able to get the part and fix our slide extremely fast. We were able to resume our every weekend camping trips without having to cancel any of them. Got our 2022 mle out to check for trip to Michigan and A/C was warm, called Buck and he said "bring her up I think we could look at it tomorrow." I dropped it off Tuesday at 4:50 pm and picked it up Thursday at 8:30 am with cold air and a recall completed. Brand new A/C unit and can't tell they were inside, no messes to clean up. You read on line about 1-2 month wait for service, not at PONTIAC RV. Thanks Buck and everyone involved . It should be easy to tell where we'll buy our next one. THANKS AGAIN.
