Very HappyThis is our 3rd RV, but our first purchase from Pontiac RV. We were nervous about purchasing an RV 3.5 hours away from our home, but Pontiac had a great deal on the model we were looking for, and most recently, we had to drive our RV back to Pontiac to fix a broken slide. We had heard stories on social media forums of others with slide issues that were having to miss months of camping because the service departments of other dealerships were backed up.
Pontiac RVs service department was able to get the part and fix our slide extremely fast. We were able to resume our every weekend camping trips without having to cancel any of them. Best dealer around!My husband and I picked up our Brinkley G 3500 yesterday. After shopping around for our new Brinkley, Pontiac Rv won our vote. Will never go anywhere else. Jeff Moline was our salesman. Can not sing his praises enough, he went out off his way for us. We are going to miss our conversations with him. The ladies at the closing were wonderful as well. BEST SERVICE EVERGot our 2022 mle out to check for trip to Michigan and A/C was warm, called Buck and he said "bring her up I think we could look at it tomorrow." I dropped it off Tuesday at 4:50 pm and picked it up Thursday at 8:30 am with cold air and a recall completed. Brand new A/C unit and can't tell they were inside, no messes to clean up. You read on line about 1-2 month wait for service, not at PONTIAC RV. Thanks Buck and everyone involved . It should be easy to tell where we'll buy our next one. THANKS AGAIN.

Why you should choose a Family Owned BusinessCan't say enough about how great this business is!!! I wish there was an option to give them 10 stars because that is what I would give them. I would like to say if you are needing a new camper go see Joe at Pontiac. Joe, Kevin, Kate, and the rest of the staff at Pontiac are the greatest bunch you will ever come across. I will always recommend Pontiac RV to anyone looking for a new or used RV or just for service. Thanks again to you all in your great help with getting things "right". For someone to meet with us on a day that his child graduates and makes sure everything is great before he leaves, just goes to show you that your not just a sale to them you are part of their family. BEST EXPERIENCE!!!!!!After 8 weeks of searching for a hybrid camper, Pontiac RV received my dream camper as a trade in and I pounced on it. From the very beginning it was a positive experience. Way way WAY better than dealing with G*****l RV or C******g W****d. Pontiac RV doesn't have all the ridiculous hidden fees or what I like to call closing costs. The cost for the deposit was reasonable (100 dollars for 48 hours compared to G*****l's 1000 dollars). Its family owned! They have a catalog for parts and a good size accessory/parts store with a nice inventory. The salesman was great. Mike who did our walk through was very knowledgeable. I had to drive 2 hours and 20 minutes to look at the camper. Then come back to pick it up. My Pontiac RV experience was Impressive and inspirational.Pontiac RV is a landmark indeed. At IL 23 and route 66, if you've driven the mother road , you've seen it. For my lifetime, it's always been there. And, always been seen growing. Never stopped by until a couple weeks ago, on a whim. Now understand why it's been there so long?? Not AT ALL like a car dealership/company store etc. Completely customer driven. Bought an RV!! Glad it was this place! Integrity and honesty. Great professional service.Had a problem with the leveling system. Due to covid-19 parts were a bit difficult to get. We worked together to make sure it was repaired. Very accommodating. 5 stars from start to finish!From start to finish Pontiac RV delivered. Prior to contacting Pontiac RV, I had done my detailed research and settled on Grand Design's Imagine 2500RL. After several dealers not willing to negotiate, demonstrating poor customer service, and not even returning my calls I made the call to Pontaic RV and spoke with Ross. Note: There are 3 Grand design dealerships that would have been more convenient to work with from a distance perspective. Once Ross had identified that a 2500 was already on order, he was quick to ensure it had the specific options that I was looking for. Just a few short hours later he returned my call and we had a signed sales proposal. (I work in sales, and yes, it can be that easy).
Too bad for the other local dealers, who didn't take my inquires seriously. You missed out on a pretty easy sale. :) I have already referred several friends/family to the Pontaic team to reward them for their service.
Ross was quick to update me on the status and delivery. I took possession this weekend and the only thing I could ask for is better weather for a shakedown. Kudo's to the rest of the staff as well including the tech who gave a great walkthrough. - Brian from Yorkville, IL
